Description: Frightmares has come a long way since the backyard haunt it started out to be. Those days in the backyard were grate times spent with family. Building and working together to do something for a holiday that everyone loved. After the backyard we moved it into a building in Evansdale, Iowa where it continued to grow. Today and for the last two years Frightmares has been located at the National Cattle Congress Fairgrounds in Waterloo, Iowa. 2002 was a fantastic haunt season and 2003 was even bigger and the haunt went through ever more changes. It got bigger, scarier and saw some wonderful things added inside and out. With the wonderful sponsors and people involved Frightmares will be around a long, long time providing the scares that Halloween is in need of.. For what would Halloween be without a haunted house? Description: Come see our citys day-haunt for kids. Lots of pictures of the Musical Misfits, a haunted band playing haunted instruments, and see what lurks in the "Whispering Woods" as the kids travel their way through the trail. A MUST SEE site for ideas when dealing with children, like the "pit of doom", the "bone-yard", and a life size pirate ship. I also have my last few home haunts on here including a life size alien space ship I built in my garage.
